ABOUT SCHS GOLF

A message from our Head Coach:

Since the year 2000, the Steele Canyon High School Girls and Boys Golf Teams have become two of the most successful athletic programs on campus, perennially ranked among the top high school golf teams in San Diego County.  With a combined 27 Grossmont League Championships and annual appearances in the CIF San Diego Section playoffs, Steele Canyon High School Girls and Boys Golf continues to build upon its success each year.  With your help, the program will continue to do so for many years to come.

I am very proud of our players and I thank you for taking the time to support our golf program and the 2023 Steele Canyon Cougar Classic Charity Golf Tournament.  Money raised from tournament sponsorships and donations will help with our annual expenses, such as uniforms, golf equipment, tournament fees and travel costs.  Last year’s tournament was another great success thanks to the support from our business and community partners, as well as the support from our families and friends.  With your help this year, the Cougar Classic will be another successful fundraiser for our program.

There are several ways that you can support our players and the golf program  Take a moment to decide which choice(s) is best for you:

Donate goods and services for the Cougar Classic tournament Silent Auction.  Goods and services make great door prizes and silent auction items for the event.

Play in the Cougar Classic.  Sign-up a foursome and enjoy a round of golf at beautiful Steele Canyon Golf Club.  This Gary Player-designed course is one of only three in San Diego County to earn Golf Digest’s Four-star Rating, so you definitely want to experience it for yourself.

Sponsorships – From season sponsorships, to Cougar Classic sponsorships, you or your business/organization will be recognized and promoted throughout the golf season and at the Cougar Classic for your generous contribution.  Please note that our premium tournament sponsorship levels include foursomes.

Steele Canyon High School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit California charter school, so contributions are tax-deductible.  Please consult your tax professional for information regarding tax-decuctions.
